Homeland Security

SET personnel supported the development of software tools for coordinating responses to large scale domestic emergencies before the existence of the Department of Homeland Security. We still do.

Acts of terrorism. Floods. Biological Warfare agent releases. Earthquakes. Radiological Dispersion Device (RDD/"Dirty Bomb"). Hurricanes. Chemical Agent Releases. Effective planning and response to these and other types of natural and technological hazards are achieved only by collecting, coordinating, communicating, and disseminating essential incident information. The Information to Command and Control (I2C2) software package helps emergency planners and responders manage information in order to increase efficiencies and assure effectiveness. I2C2 enables large organizations to easily manage incident activities, teams, and equipment, while communicating the appropriate information to the right people, both within and outside the organization, at the right time, enabling effective decision making.
